docx2doc is run on a private iniative by a software developer in Norway. My goal is to provide information about the new Word 2007 format and help users in need of a quick and hazzle-free conversion to a readable format. I am not in any way affiliated with Microsoft or any of their products.

A word on security

documents are uploaded to the server and given a random filename unique to each user. Each converted file will be available for download for 24 hours before it is automatically deleted. However, I urge users to not upload sensitive or classified documents for security reasons.
